Hi, my name is Aleksey Vaynshteyn. I’m an artist, designer, photographer, husband and father. I love to paint. I believe that art is food for the soul. But art means little to the millions of people who actually go hungry every day. So I want my paintings to not only feed your soul, but also help feed the hungry.
Will paint for food project
In 2015, I’ve started a new project call “Will paint for food”. The idea is simple. I paint pictures of food and donate all the profit from the sales to help feed the hungry. The first 30 paintings of 2015 are part of the project.
How does it work?
When you buy one of the “Will paint for food” paintings, I will donate all the profit to Feeding America and local food banks in the northern New Jersey area. I only deduct a portion of the sale price to pay for materials, payment processing fees, and other expenses associated with creating the artwork. I’ll even send you a receipt for the donation made from your purchase upon request.
What’s in it for me?
I love to paint, and I think that art has the power to change the world. I want to do my small part in making a difference. I want to know that my paintings have great homes, with people who care about the world. In the end, everybody wins – you get a beautiful painting, the hungry get meals, and I know that my art has a great purpose.
