Oil on panel, 6×8 inches

There’s a special place in my heart for Kabocha squash. My wife makes the most delicious soup with it that is sweet, but has no added sugar.  I like how this painting relies heavily on the greens, but lets the orange patches of the squash make every green so much brighter.
