Really good apricots are hard to come by. Most of the time they are harvested when nowhere near ripe so they can be transported, and as a result, taste bland and flavorless. These little beauties, on the other had came from a farmers market. They didn’t travel far, and were amazingly fragrant and delicious. I took four of the best lookers and captured them in this painting that smells of late summer.¬†Oil on panel 6×8 inches.
