When you have kids, you have bananas in the house all the time.  They are portable, and you don’t even need clean hands to eat them.  We tend not to notice things like this, but if you take the time to look closely, you’ll notice all kinds of subtle beauty. I like the idea of capturing these two at their peak or ripeness and preserving them forever.  When I finished the painting, we made PB&J sandwiches with bananas.
